Varberg / Getterön (ESGV) is a VFR aerodrome located on the island of Getterön, northwest of the town of Varberg on Sweden’s west coast. The aerodrome is operated by Varbergs Flygklubb and serves general aviation, flight training, and visiting traffic.
The aerodrome is located under Göteborg TMA with a base of 4,500 ft MSL.
Operating Hours
Flight operations are permitted during the following hours:
Monday–Thursday: 07:00–22:00
Friday: 07:00–20:00
Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays: 08:00–18:00
The aerodrome is closed on the following public holidays:
- Good Friday
- Easter Saturday
- Midsummer Eve
- Christmas Eve
- Christmas Day
- Boxing Day
- New Year’s Eve
- New Year’s Day
